     2008-09 to date:

·        Additional funding received from Parenting Fund and Children’s Fund to continue running Parenting Courses in both Southampton and Basingstoke

·        Family Mentoring training pilot scheme launched

·        Launch of Parent Support Group project in Southampton

·        Launch of ADAPT, perpetrators programme in Havant

·        Launch of ADAPT, perpetrators programme in Portsmouth

·        Continuation of work towards RESPECT accreditation

·        Sheila Wade joins the Trust as Treasurer

 

   2007-08:

  • Funding secured from Reaching Communities for RAP Youth Programme
  • Her Honour Judge Linda Davies steps down as Chair of Trustees and is succeeded by Sue Wade
  • Tender won to provide Child Welfare Family Group Conferencing in Southampton
  • Funding awarded by The Monument Trust to work with young girls and violence
  • Development of the LINX programme
  • Organisational review undertaken of to structures of Domestic Abuse and Families and Young People strands of work
  • Turnaround groups run in Borden
  • Contracted by Rainer to provide pilot mentoring programme on the Isle of Wight for Looked After Children (LAC)
  • Contracted by Connexions to provide NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) mentoring in Gosport and Isle of Wight
  • Commissioned in Southampton to provide an ADAPT perpetrators programme in Thornhill
  • Parenting Programmes extended to include SPOT (Supporting Parents of Teenagers) for families of children aged 11 and over in Southampton
  • Continuation of consultancy work with Jersey Domestic Abuse Forum


   2006-07:

  • Kim Brown appointed Chief Executive
  • With the NE Hants Domestic Violence Forum a Perpetrators Programme for men begins in Hook.
  • Awarded European Social Fund (Daphne II) funding to provide domestic abuse education to schools.
  • With DfES funding Incredible Years Parenting Programme extended to cover Southampton area
  • Turnaround children’s group work programme developed for the Specialist Domestic Abuse Court area in Alton
  • Home Office reporting provided for Specialist Domestic Violence Court (SDVC) in Alton
  • Provided consultancy to Jersey Domestic Violence Forum in setting up a programme

     

   2005-06:

  • Circles of Support & Accountability 3 year pilot project ends
  • Ros Cassy steps down as Chief Executive after 9 years in post
  • Partnership working with Hampshire Children Services to pilot Respite Activities   Project (RAP) providing a range of activities to young people in SE Hampshire.
  • Commissioned by Wessex YOT to service the Combined Youth Justice
  • Standing Conference for Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
  • Interact remodelled and rebranded to InteractED offering group work sessions where young people learn key skills and can undertake an ASDAN qualification.

       2004-05:

  • Interactive developed as an extension to Interact, where young people can attend weekly groups developing skills
  • Incredible Years Parenting extends to Gosport for a 3 month pilot project
  • Dr Dennis Drysdale, OBE retires as Chair of Trustees and is succeeded by Her Honour Judge Linda Davies.
  • Hampshire Participation Manager, based at The Trust, appointed by the Hampshire Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership.
  • The Trust contributes major consultation exercise on young people and families for the Children's and Young Person's Strategic Partnership.

       2003- 04:

  • Hampton Trust Domestic Violence programme involved in the BBC's Hitting Home Campaign in February
  • Funded by the Winchester Community Safety Partnership to set up a perpetrators group
  • Seminars organised for Southampton Youth Justice Forum on anti social behaviour and 'Every Child Matters' green paper.
  • Funding from the Hampshire Children’s Fund establishes the Incredible Years Parenting Project in Basingstoke.
  • National pilot scheme for Residential Parenting funded by the Home Office commences, in partnership with the Wessex Youth Offending Team.
  • The Bail Support Scheme transfers in house to the YOT after 4 successful years.
  • Mentoring work developed for 'Saucepans' - The Southampton Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Project.
  • Development of 'Wigwam' Early Intervention project on the Isle of Wight funded by the Youth Justice Forum
  • Funded by GOSE, Turnaround project created for children affected by Domestic Abuse

    2002-03
  • Approved Provider Status awarded to Interact Mentoring schemes by the National Mentoring Network
  • Funding from the Home Office secured to manage a pilot project, Circles of Support & Accountability.
  • Conferences organised on behalf of the Southampton Youth Justice Forum and Connexions.
  • Commissioned by Southampton City Council to provide mentors for young people on Modern Apprenticeship Schemes
  • Consultancy work for Hampshire Children's Fund on service provision and strategic links
     

   2000-01:

  • Move to new offices at Fairways House from Eastleigh
  • Conference organised on the development of the Connexions Service
  • Interact Mentoring scheme extended to the Isle of Wight
  • Partnership with Probation to run Domestic Violence Perpetrators Programme in SE Hampshire
  • Dr Dennis Drysdale, OBE appointed Chair of the Board of Trustees

   1999-2000:

  • 2nd Standing Conference on Crime, Disorder and Social Exclusion faciliated
  • Continuation of Domestic Violence Perpetrators Project in North Hampshire extended to include groups in Aldershot as well as Basingstoke
  • Interact mentoring project continues in Havant, Fareham and Gosport.

 

   1998-99:

 

  • Seminars and conferences organised on key issues related to youth justice - The Crime and Disorder Act 1998, 1st Standing Conference on Crime, Disorder and Social Exclusion
  • Partnership agreement with Hampshire Probation Service to run Domestic Violence Perpetrators Project in North Hampshire
  • Interact mentoring project established in Havant, Lottery funding gained to extend the scheme to Fareham and Gosport
  • Successful funding bid to Youth Justice Board to further develop Youth Justice Family Group Conferences
  • Successful tender to run Bail Supervision and Support Scheme on behalf of Wessex Youth Offending Team
     

   1996-97:

  • Consultancy identified the need for new organisation
  • Angela Sealey elected as Chair of Trustees.
  • Ros Cassy appointed as Director
  • Public launch of the Trust named after Eugenie Hampton
  • Youth Justice Family Group Conferencing project set up
  • Project to support women experiencing domestic violence set up
  • Audit undertaken of needs and services for East Southampton Hampshire Care
  • Hampshire Care Trust transfer their work to the Hampton Trust
