CEO Interview on BBC Radio 5Live

BBC Radio 5Live featured CARA (Caution Against Relationship Abuse) on their programme 5Live Investigates on Sunday 22nd November.   Podcast available here

Project CARA has been running since August 2012 and is a randomised controlled trial (RCT), currently being carried out by Cambridge University and taking place in Western Hampshire.  This trial is being carried out to improve the police response to victims of domestic abuse, reduce the risk of re-offending (for a crime with high repeat victimisation rates) and to examine the effectiveness of a workshop for offenders against current police practice.

The Hampton Trust has designed and delivers the course.  The programme featured snapshots of CARA being delivered, as well as participant feedback.

The CEO of The Hampton Trust, Chantal Hughes and a Hampshire Constabulary representative fed in live to the broadcast.
